Customise the decline form flow

Forms Editor

You have the option to customise the behaviour of the Thanks, not for me button on the public candidate pack page in multiple ways. To reach the forms editor, go to a candidate pack editor page and click the Edit forms button under the Basics section.

How to open the Forms Editor

Once on the Form Editor, make sure you are on the Decline form tab.

Customising the decline form flow

1. Display form & Success notification

How this flow works?

  1. Candidates click the Thanks, not for me button
  2. A data collection form is displayed
  3. Candidates complete the form
  4. A success notification is shown to the candidates
The data from the form will be saved and displayed on the candidate pack's stats page.

2. Display form & Redirect to a link of my choice

How this flow works?

  1. Candidates click the Thanks, not for me button
  2. A data collection form is displayed
  3. Candidates complete the form
  4. Upon successful completion of the form, candidates are redirected to a link of your choice
The data from the form will be saved and displayed on the candidate pack's stats page.

3. Hide form & Redirect instead to a link of my choice

How this flow works?

  1. Candidates click the Thanks, not for me button
  2. No form will be displayed
  3. Instead, candidates are redirected to a link of your choice
⚠️ To be used only for custom scenarios. Selecting this flow will effectively stop the collection of reasons for declining. The overall decline clicks will still register though.

Custom links

When using custom links, you can use any 3rd party link of your choice: Calendly, LinkedIn, Workable or any other ATS of your choice.
